If you don’t have the DVD yet, they’re going live tonight with a special look at the (gasp!) Star Trek film.
In the midst of some typical Trek oldbie wank, a moment of sheer genius is revealed: Vulcan pick up lines. A sample:
“Cadet Uhura, might I inquire as to whether or not you suffered physical discomfort upon falling to Earth? Also, it would be prudent to alert your superiors that one of their ranks has recently gone missing.”

There’s just no avoiding it. Thank god that the Houston Chronicle is here to tell us that Star Wars and Star Trek fans are “galactically different.” Though for how long? Luckily Simon Pegg has given us permission to like both. Phew.
