Sue Rostoni answered some followup questions to yesterday’s reveals, and says that Imperial Commando #2 will “probably be the last one.”

I swear I checked Previews Monday afternoon (well after 2pm!) for the standard new releases post, but either it wasn’t updated yet or I just hallucinated, because Legacy #45 is clearly there now. It should be waiting in your local comic store right now.
Upcoming. Dan Wallace confirms reports that he’s working on a book called The Jedi Path for Becker+Mayer. (Not that it needed confirmation, being in a catalog, but, uhh… I missed it. Sorry.)

Tuesday will bring Karen Miller’s Clone Wars Gambit: Stealth to bookstores, the first of a duology that will wrap up The Clone Wars novel tie-ins. If the prequel era isn’t your bag, there’s always Matthew Stover’s Luke Skywalker and the Shadows of Mindor arriving in paperback.
Rebuttal. Big-time prequel fan Bryan Young has begun his response to the 90-minute Phantom Menace review that was going around a while back.
Presented without comment. Karen Miller, whose Star Wars books have been enthusiastically received by certain areas of fandom, wants folks to know that she’s not writing homoerotic subtext into her Clone Wars books. Okay then. (It seems the rant was inspired by this thread. Sigh.)
If we ever see an Essential Guide again… Suggestions for a book on GFFA politics. Dan Wallace is game!

Folks just aren’t ready to let the Karen Traviss/Imperial Commando/Clone Wars brouhaha go, and io9 remains committed to stirring the hornet’s nest, getting hold of the woman herself. This go-round Traviss puts more weight on “contractual differences,” saying that canon and The Clone Wars was secondary to “pay and working practices.”
However, she does confirm their theory that the cancellation of the Fett book was due to the live action series. I remain skeptical (we are missing so many pieces) but it’ll all come out in due time.
