May the 4th begins, as promised, with the Rebels trailer. (There’s also a short version which I presume is the one playing on TV.) Thoughts? Theories?
If you’re having issues with Youtube, the trailer is live on Disney.com as well.

Well, it was to be expected that they would play the Jedi card extensively, but for my taste it’s a teensy bit early. Shouldn’t they be rebels first and Jedi sixty-fifth or something?
The one other complaint I have is that the stormtroopers look rather cute. Or shiny. Or Detours like. What’s the word I’m looking for? Ah yes: Weird. ;-)
Still: I’ll watch half a season of Rebels before I make my final decision.
I’m most concerned about the mixed grammatical tenses.
It looks interesting, although the look of the characters isn’t really in my taste. TCW definitely had better animation, but I will give it a try nevertheless. The storytelling will decide if it’s good, in the end. :)
Anyone that had doubts about this show needs to watch it on a bigger screen. Seeing the preview was rather awesome.
I’m actually diggin’ the animation style. I don’t know why it’s appealing to me, but I’ll take it.
I think a big part of it might be the facial animation. This seems a whole lot more… expressive(?) than TCW was.
I think the voice of the Inquisitor sounds like it could be Benedict Cumberbatch. (The voice is certainly *not* anything like David Oyelowo as mentioned here: http://thewookieegunner.com/2014/05/04/star-wars-rebels-full-trailer-now-available/ .) I think Benedict only denied working on Episode VII…
