Punk Rock Potters

MTV interviews Harry and the Potters:

With song titles like “The Foil (Malfoy)” and “Voldemort Can’t Stop the Rock,” 18-year-old Joe and 26-year-old Paul have watched in stunned amazement as their “goofy” idea has turned into a full-fledged, touring band. Strumming their guitars and belting out lyrics like “Draco Malfoy, what’s your problem?/ All your friends think you’re rad/ ‘Cause you treat me so bad,” the DeGeorge brothers have combined broomsticks with Blink-182. And the outfits help too.

That’s it, CJrs: we totally have to revive The Dead Daalas.

Me with my silencer on

I was more than a little surprised that the Tori Amos Star Wars concert info ended up on TFN, since I never even considered blogging it… The Dent being as un-TFNy as a fansite can possibly get – but it’s amusing that it did. Pictures from the concert even ended up on Pink is the New Blog – scroll past Britney and Paris and look for the 5 year-old in the Amidala costume. Fuzzy, but cute. Someone on the Tori LJ community has pics, too.

Cue the music… and the giggles.

Revenge of the Sith soundtrack with bonus Palpatine! Well, and a DVD. But mostly Ian McDiarmid. Oddly enough, does not come out on April 2nd with the rest of the prequel stuff…

We also get a look at some new toys. The highlight? An Obi-Wan lightsaber that, um, vibrates:

Obi-Wan Kenobi Electronic Lightsaber — Turn it on and it vibrates with the power of the mystic energy field that surrounds all living things.

Mystical power of the Force. Sure.
