Decapping the latest Star Wars Mimobots reveals the faces of Vader and Rex – two Vaders! The Revenge of the Sith version is standard, but every one in six will have the older Return of the Jedi face. And there’s a San Deigo Comic Con exclusive that will have Luke, ala his Dagobah vision.
For the budding anthropologists in the room… McSweeny’s has Yub Jub Means “Devour the Weak:” An Authoritative Study of the Ewoks From the Field. (Also noteworthy, though not Star Wars: Selections from H.P. Lovecraft’s Brief Tenure as a Whitman’s Sample Copywriter.)

Random House has revealed the cover for Windham and Vilmur’s The Complete Vader, a nonfiction look at the Dark Lord in, out and around the films. Further details – like the blurb we got in February – can be found at Becker & Mayer.

New for sleepy Star Wars fans of all ages is Sakar’s Darth Vader Alarm Clock Radio ($29.99). It’s shaped as an actual replica of Darth Vader’s helmeted head and includes an AM/FM radio, snooze button, full-featured alarm clock with three sound effects to choose from for the alarm, and an audio jack input by which kids can plug in portable devices and run the audio through its speakers. But beware the Dark Side: the time glows red through the Sith Lord’s eyes!
