Released out into the world tonight is a version of the featurette that launched the Episode IX panel way back at Celebration Chicago in April – though I believe this one has more/different footage from behind the scenes of The Rise of Skywalker, though a few things did carry over.
Sheev speaks and “Duel of the Fates” shows up in the new “Duel” commercial, which is full of new brand new footage.
Ahsoka and Queen’s Shadow author E.K. Johnston will have a third Star Wars novel out next year. Queen’s Peril is a prequel to both Queen’s Shadow and The Phantom Menace, set in Padme’s early days as queen.
The covers are yet again by Tara Phillips. Queen’s Peril is due out in hardcover and eBook on May 5, 2020 from Disney-Lucasfilm Press.
On Good Morning America this morning, John Boyega admits it was his script that ended up on eBay.
Boyega is also joining co-star Daisy Ridley in picking Baby Yoda over the porgs. “So cute, man. I love baby Yoda,” he said to USA Today. “And you know what? I’m against everyone that wants to give that baby another name except for Baby Yoda. That is Baby Yoda.” He later talked about his stock modeling days and falling in love with acting.

Oscar Isaac and wife Elvira Lind have a new baby, and his visit to Late Night with Seth Meyers is his first time out of the house. As for The Rise of Skywalker, he also talks about visiting the King of Jordan and shooting in the desert.
J.J. Abrams was on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, where he revealed that the first word spoken in the film is “At.” Colbert also ran some fan theories past the director.
And in an interview with Esquire, Abrams talks about the whole toxic fandom issue, not doing test screenings and of course… Baby Yoda.

On The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Daisy Ridley does not hesitate to declare The Mandalorian’s Baby Yoda is cuter than the porgs. Fallon also asks her about dark Rey, and plays the clip from yesterday.
She also did a rap of all nine moves:
J.J. Abrams was busy today. After his visit to GMA, he appeared on SiriusXM’s EWLive, where he revealed that The Rise of Skywalker will clock in at “two hours and 21 minutes,” or 144 minutes, shorter than earlier reports. (Though that still may not account for the credits.) There’s a clip on the article, but the full interview will air on Thursday.
