poor banthas get no respect!
The scene has a lot of tension and energy, but I think it best left on the floor.
yeah, it’s fun as an extra, but I can see why they cut it. In the original, Ford and Fisher did a fine job of making it clear that they’re actually talking about their relationship rather than the rebellion. Trying to use extra dialogue to make that point is like using a tire jack to help the hulk lift up a car.
screenplay scenes always have fluff lines and they always get cut. I can attest to this, having edited one film I made from 15 to 7 minutes, mostly cutting pointless dialog. It almost seems like Harrison and Fisher knew these were bad lines. They don’t seem to be trying very hard, or is that just me?
