The official site has the November solicitations, including the much-anticipated Purge: Seconds to Die one-shot. Also, Invasion #5, The Clone Wars #10, Knights of the Old Republic #47, and Legacy #42. There’s also the third installment of the Star Wars Adventures digests, Luke Skywalker and the Treasure of the Dragonsnakes.
And for reprints, a Shadows of the Empire omnibus and Thrawn Trilogy hardcover collecting the comic adaptions of Zahn’s Heir to the Empire, Dark Force Rising, and The Last Command.
Depending on the pricing, that Thrawn Trilogy book might be awesome.
At the same time that’s a little annoying. This is probably the third time the comic adaptations of the Thrawn books have been repackaged and yet the original books still have their original, ugly covers. I actually asked Sue about that on that SW.com thread and she said it wasn’t financially viable to rerelease those books. I think I like Dark Horse’s strategy better than I like Del Rey’s.
It probably has a lot to do with Dark Horse still being an active licensee, while all Bantam has to do is sit back and count their backlist profit.
