The full trailer for Brave – featuring Pixar’s first female protagonist, Merida, voiced by Kelly Macdonald – was released yesterday. It’s worth checking out the HD version as well.

I watched Good Morning America to see this ASAP and it was awful. Luckily, the trailer was worth it.
Good news, Hunger Games fans – while the trailer may indeed be attached to Breaking Dawn, it’s due to be old news by the time the latest Twilight movie opens on the 18th. The trailer will debut on ABC’s Good Morning America this coming Monday, November 14, in the 8 a.m. hour. Josh Hutcherson (Peeta) will brave the perky morning-show herds to introduce the video.
Which is to say, plenty of action in this one. Red Tails, which is produced by George Lucas and directed by Anthony Hemingway, will be in theaters January 20th.
A Hunger Games fansite came across a flyer instructing projectionists to attach the Hunger Games trailer to The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn. While it makes perfect business sense to market Hunger Games to the Twilight audience, I’ve never been so thankful for the internet.
In other news, there’s a new photo of Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss Everdeen that, from her outfit, I’d guess dates from early in the film.
Dwarves! Hobbits! Peter Jackson! Martin Freeman! Ian McKellen! Elijah Wood! 3-D! A hell of a lot about shooting in 3-D, actually. (Mirkwood: Ye olde Pandora?)
Coming to a Meijer near you… Twilight branded hair-styling tools. Includes an ‘Edward 1/2-Inch Hair Straightener.’ (Seriously!) Your move, Lucasfilm… Your move. (via)
Taking a page from the Disney handbook, Warner Bros. announced that they will stop shipping all the Harry Potter films on December 29, 2011 – less than two months after the release of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2 and the 8-film collection on November 11.
Marketing ploy? Sure. But is Warner Bros. sacrificing long-term sales for a blockbuster holiday season? Or will we see the next release just in time for the 2012 holidays? One interesting sign of the times – the moratorium will not include digital methods of delivery.
Buffy/Angel/Firefly/Dollhouse creator Joss Whedon apparently managed to be sneaky and just finished principle photography with a bunch of his friends on Much Ado About Nothing.
Included in the cast are several famous Whedon alums, including Nathan Fillion, Sean Maher, Amy Acker and Alexis Denisof.
And that’s about all we know. But if Whedon’s doing Shakespeare? This could be awesome.
It’s not what you’re expecting. Well, maybe it is. (via)
