I was unimpressed with the very first trailer, but this one has me VERY excited! This is the Superman I like. Yay!

I’m not sure how many times they watched the Dark Knight Rises trailer, but it was at least one too many times.
Not that I’m not going to go see this and fangirl all over it, because I am. But c’mon.
Dark, gritty Superman? Superman!?
Muting the colors (the primary freakin’ colors) of his costume is not fooling anyone.

Meh. I was in my late teens when Smallville was on, and even though I outgrew it before it ended, Tom Welling will always be my Clark Kent. I’d see it if someone else was paying, but otherwise…I’ll just keep counting down to Star Trek 2, the next installment of the Hobbit, Mockingjay, and season 3 of Sherlock. :)

is his costume made out of the same textureed fabric as the new Star Trek shirts?

Superman is my favorite superhero. Not gonna lie, I love this. I just hope they don’t go too “dark”. Agree with what others have said above, too. To me, Superman is super-saturated colors, optimism, etc. Why can’t we have optimism anymore? Also agree re: Tom Welling. Love Smallville. Welling is kind of my mental model of Clark Kent at this point. Like when I see Pa Kent and Clark in the pickup in this trailer, I’m all: “Who’s that kid? Where’s Chloe?” etc.

Nothing happens and it seems to go on for hours. Maybe the safest trailer ever to get up and go to the bathroom during.

None of Snyder’s films have inspired me. They just seem like bland excuses for flashy visuals. He seems like the wrong choice for something as iconic as Superman. Singer did a great job and I don’t know why they can’t bring him back. At least Nolan’s helping out. It can’t be that bad with him nudging it here and there.

Ok, after seeing the trailer in IMAX 3D I feel slightly more postitive about it…but it still pales in comparison to the Hobbit and the 9 glorious minutes of Star Trek Into Darkness! :)
