Is this the one where he becomes Darth Vader?
I think that’s where Benedict Cumberbatch comes in, yes.
And close to two months later, I’ve finally seen it, and oh boy… The good thing is: After this trilogy, nobody will dare smear the prequels anymore, because now the “unsurpassable” Mr. Jackson has made the exact same mistakes: Characters everybody knows will survive in endless action scenes, endless explaining and countless bits of exposition, new characters that aren’t just superfluous but simply nonsensical, far too much CGI, far too many subplots and not enough attention paid to the main characters, and one impressive bit of wizardry – Smaug in the Hobbit, Yoda’s dance routine in AOTC – in the middle part of the trilogy that will make people forget the major flaws surrounding it all.
Two prequel trilogies down, how many more to go? :-)
