The Disney Channel aired this spot tonight with a handful of new scenes from The Force Awakens, including new footage of General Hux, Poe Dameron and on Jakku.
Yowie and I go over the latest in the Star Wars galaxy in this week’s Unboxing Star Wars video. We bring out a B-wing as we talk about Hera in this week’s Rebels episode, ‘Wings of the Master’, and try some Star Wars packaged Honey Nut Cheerios. We also show off some Star Wars stamps from the UK and talk about the upcoming Vader Down comic crossover event. I even talk about a scene from Rescuers Down Under.
A new TV spot debuted on ABC Thursday night, with a few glimpses of new footage, including more on Jakku, the Resistance command room, Finn and the lightsaber, and, above, Rey and Han. Here’s the official Youtube:
A few stills – and thoughts – below the cut, in a gallery. Continue reading “Video: New The Force Awakens footage from #TGITAwakens”
We met the B-wing in tonight’s ‘Wings of the Master’, and Andi has the behind the scenes scoop with Pablo Hidalgo, Dave Filoni, and Vanessa Marshall.
With so much going on in the world of Star Wars, I recap some of the latest releases with a new Unboxing Star Wars video, with Yowie and Baby Jawa. We review ‘Brothers of the Broken Horn’ from Star Wars Rebels (yay for the return of our beloved pirate captain, Hondo Ohnaka!), the new Battlefront: Twilight Company novel, Shattered Empire comics, and even talk about LEGO Star Wars: Droid Tales and the new Insider issue. Brought to you by the letters S and W!
Hondo returned in tonight’s ‘Brothers of the Broken Horn.’ Poor guy has fallen on hard times. Also, Pablo reveals a bit about Sabine.
A cute new Duracell commercial for the kid in all of us. We’ve come a long way…
Master troll George Lucas was among the luminaries asking J.J. Abrams about Star Wars and his other projects for Vanity Fair.
The new Inquisitors debuted on tonight’s ‘Always Two There Are’, and Recon shares a clip of Sarah Michelle Geller at NYCC earlier this month. Also, Dave Filoni and Pablo Hidalgo talk about (and tease) about the Inquisitors, and a question about TIE fighters.
There’s also a new interview with Filoni over at IGN, where he goes into a little more detail (though not that much) on the Inquisitors.
Next week: Hondo!
