Video Monday

Don’t miss this – R2-S2, the steam-powered Artoo! Impressive. (Thanks, Bonnie!)

Rifftrax has video samples on Youtube – TPM, AOTC, The Matrix, Daredevil, The Fifth Element, X-Men, LOTR (if you only watch one, watch LOTR) and more. They’re also up on the Rifftrax site.

Someone has put a lot of SDCC masquerade sketches from 2005 and 2006 up on Youtube – including The Modal Nodes, Runaway Bounty, General Grievous and some very familiar pirates

I had no idea Epcot could do that!

Video Monday: Brain Bleach Required

Watch as some dude listens to the scene of Vader interogating Leia from the ANH Radio Drama. Highly disturbing and yet still kind of hilarious. I need a shower.

The worst music video ever. So of course it takes place on a space station.

Cinematoc: Star Wars. Every wonder what Hardware Wars would look like on an even lower budget made by the French? Wonder no more!

Your father commands you!

Ryan vs Dorkman 2. Always two there are… an internet phenomenon and a sequel. The first one stood as the crème de la crème of the copious ‘fanboys with lightsabers’ genre, and this new one is pretty good, too. It even has funny, but does get a tad graphic (for Star Wars) towards the end.

“Star Wars is not dead”

IESB catches up with George on the red carpet for a quick video interview. George puts a stake through the heart of the Indy IV Natalie Portman rumor and names the first brand-new character in the animated series. Boba Fett (“still a little kid”) is “possible.”

UPDATE: A TFN reader got to hear George speak at the Directors Guild of America. He talked about the 3D series (“smart ass comedy with contemporary humor,”) revealed a live-action tidbit, and said he wouldn’t be able to make Celebration.

First hilarious Star Wars fanvid of 2007. I laughed; I cried. It was better than Cats. Genius.

Leia’s 22nd birthday party takes a sinister turn…

Getting off-topic, because we’re running out of fan films: Hitler Raps. So wrong, so right, it will stick in your head for hours. To continue on the theme, The Hitler Debacle from Whose Line is it Anyone.

Also, George Washington. Not safe for work, mainly because it will make you laugh out loud.

Warm and fuzzies

Video Monday

There is another… Star Wars Rap with a nifty film footage video. (Warning: language, Jar-Jar.)

Apparently this subway station is just like the Death Star level in an Star Wars arcade game.

Project Genesis didn’t do much for me until the last line, when I found myself laughing uncontrollably for an entire minute. If you’re less easily amused, perhaps Python Trek will do the trick?

Video Miscellany

Video Monday

A recent episode of The Simpsons dedicated a few moments to dead Star Wars characters; on that note, The Skywalkers, a Simpsons/Star Wars mashup. But really, it’s all an excuse to link Planet of the Apes: The Musical, aka one of the top ten (okay… top twenty) Simpsons’ clips of all time.

Kill Vader. Because there just aren’t enough Kill Bill parodies, I guess.

Toyota FAV4 Jousting. Okay, it’s a commercial. Still!

Mashup/Remix time: Monty Python and the Dalek, Jack Bauer interrogates the Mooninities and When Harry Met Sally as a horror film.
