Star Wars with occasional sarcasm
Well, it’s not new news, but it is apparently Reed’s ‘big news’ this week: The Clone Wars S5 premiere will be happening at Celebration Friday on the Digital Stage. It’s open to all CVI attendees (“on a first-come, first-seated basis”) and will be followed by a Q&A with Dave Filoni.
There will be a line! I’m so excited.
The Clone Wars panel in San Diego was earlier, and naturally Dave Filoni and co. revealed a few hints about the new season. Moderator Pablo Hidalgo has the rundown, and there’s another nice writeup from Patrick Kevin Day at Hero Complex.
The least spoilery is certainly the news that the first episode of s5 will be show in Orlando at Celebration next month. I’ll let you head over to Tosche Station, who’ve collected Amy Ratcliffe’s live-tweets, but for now I’ll just say that it looks like Obi-Wan is going to have some time in the spotlight. Oh, and Maul might get some clothes. (That’s not spoilery, right?)

Entertainment Weekly has the Clone Wars trailer that was shown during Star Wars Weekends at Disney, as well as some hints from Dave Filoni.
StarWars.com has a tease from the Disney Weekends trailer – which most of us won’t get to see until after the Weekends are done and/or it leaks – to hold you over.
The Clone Wars Facebook page has a new cover image – and some are speculating it’s a shot from Season 5. Could be!
