Stargate News Roundup

Amanda Tapping (aka Sam Carter) speaks with GateWorld about the journey of her character and the understandable trepidation of fans who have heard the rumor of her going to Atlantis.

Michael Shanks (aka Daniel Jackson) is no longer Mr. Nice Guy in his upcoming movie, as told to MichaelShanksOnline by the movie’s director.

And a belated congratulations to David Hewlett (aka Rodney McKay) and The Lovely Jane Loughman (TM) who have finally done what everyone else figured they would eventually: they got engaged. (One less cute geek on the market.)

And the cover art has finally been revealed for the long-awaited (really long-awaited) Stargate Atlantis Season 2 DVD.

In other Gate news, a transformed official website has gone up for the syndicated series (which is just starting Season 9). Lots of nifty behind-the-scenes stuff. New layout. Pretty pictures. Go check it out!
