Someone actually wrote Luke/Jabba? You sick little… Oh, Sith Chicks. Pah.
Oh, and sorry folks, while Gaius Baltar/Jaime Sommers would be hilarious, slash it isn’t…
Star Wars with occasional sarcasm

Sheer brilliance: The anti-fanfic bingo card. Slash gets the plum spot, surprise surprise… (via)
What’s up with Darth Vader and Boba Fett? On the Serious Fan With Serious Knowledge front (HA!) I don’t really know/retain, nor honestly do I care, being someone who thinks Fett might just be a wee tiny bit overrated (shocking!) but I can tell you one thing: I made an icon about them once.
Seriously now, it’s a hilarious blog and will make you laugh without borrowing funny from The Princess Bride. Read it. (via SF Signal)
Almost everything I know about Doctor Who I learned from five episodes and a kind of casual fandom osmosis,* but this funny Who macro story, based on an episode I don’t think has aired in the U.S. yet and probably not safe for work unless you work in a slash factory, is still kinda hilarious. Maybe it’s the whole Tony Blair thing.
*Also the reason I can fool Quizilla into thinking me a master of Tolkien.
AfterElton.com explores slash. Yes, it’s another article about fan fiction that focuses on slash, but at least this time it’s warranted.
I’m late today, sorry. My teleporter broke. Hopefully this vast array of Star Trek videos will make up for my tardiness. (Hey, it’s forty years. I can give them a video post.)
The Kirk/Spock ‘Closer’ fanvid that’s burning up the internets. Yup, that’s the fandom that invented slash… Like you had any doubts.
Shatner’s infamous “Get a Life” clip from Saturday Night Live.
Nerf Herder sings about Mr. Spock. FANDOM BETRAYERS! Erm, good show, mates!
Betty White roasts William Shatner. Who knew that sweet little old lady could be so dirty?
Funny commercial for Star Trek: Enterprise.
Of course, no collection of videos is complete without a Monty Python mashup.
These Trek highlights from Youtube user m185874 are not be missed. He has uploaded fanvids from other series – most notably Babylon5 – that promise to be at least half as hilarious as these:
– Bohemian Rhapsody
– I Will Survive
– I’m Too Sexy
– The Time Warp
And, of course… KHHAAAAANNNNNN!!!!!!
And they ask him about Wes and Hobbie’s ‘relationship’ at DragonCon. (Note Helen to the right of Mike!)
But wait, there’s more beneath the cut! (Watch the video first.)
Yet another article about fandom that is shocked – shocked I tell you! – by slash. Though at least this time the writer does talk about more than the porn. Though methinks there have been women-dominated fandoms for much, much longer than Harry Potter.
ETA: As expected, fandom reaction is less than positive.
Chaodai shatters the myth that saying something is ‘for kids’ means you don’t have to try. Not surprisingly, The Phantom Menace comes up…
Speaking of TPM, Ryan Kaufman asks what’s up with The “Phantom” Menace?
Anakinside1 explores Anakin’s feminine side.
Master Ki-Aaron-Mundi has a theory on how Ferus Olin kicks the bucket.
Marvolo7 shares her list of the EU’s most memorable moments.
Eleventh Guard asks why is there so little NJO slash?
Another fan fiction article that focuses on slash. Yes, women like to write about men having sex. Shocking, I know.
