She was able to find the light side even in the weightier moments. “There was this thing,” she says, laughing as she starts to recall. “JJ would ask us to do the scene without speaking, just to feel the emotional… whatever. He was like, ‘You never know what could come up.’ We did that a couple of times. Then it became a joke, because we would just wet ourselves laughing. I said to JJ, ‘You have to do a bloopers reel,’ because I couldn’t keep my shit together at all.”
Today, Rolling Stone has an interview with The Rise of Skywalker director J.J. Abrams, who says the film is “the most challenging thing I’ve ever been involved in. By a lot.” Plus, a new photo! StarWars.com has formally introduced Babu Frik , the alien we saw briefly during the Force Friday preview livestream. The “tiny Anzellan droidsmith” works “among the Spice Runners of Kijimi and can reprogram or modify virtually any droid — regardless of the security measures protecting its systems.”

Resistance Reborn, part of the Journey to The Rise of Skywalker series, will be out in hardcover and eBook on November 5.
Four brand new comics are coming to the physical and digital shelves on Wednesday, September 25. From Marvel, we have Age of Resistance: Kylo Ren (previewed here,) Jedi Fallen Order: Dark Temple #2 and Target Vader #3. And from IDW, more sequel trilogy with a Rey and Luke story in Star Wars Adventures #26 (previewed here).

Three brand-new comics, the latest Insider and a Legends reprint are coming to the shelves Wednesday, September 18. It’s an Age of Resistance twofer with both Rey and Rose (previewed last week) dropping, plus Doctor Aphra #36.
There’s also a Legends reprint, Menace Revealed Vol. 2 and Star Wars Insider #192, which can’t even be spared an actual Rise of Skywalker still for the cover.
Age of Resistance: Supreme Leader Snoke dropped today, but next Wednesday will bring us two issues of the sequel-era comic: Rey and Rose Tico. StarWars.com has the previews now.
