ROTS gets two Saturn Awards
Revenge of the Sith did well at the Saturn Awards – Best Science Fiction Film and Best Music. Battlefront II won the Best Science Fiction Video Game Release.
Batman Begins won Best Fantasy Film, and Lost and Battlestar Galactica both won for Best TV series in their respective catagories. Christian Bale, Matthew Fox, James Callis, Katee Sackhoff and Serenity’s Summer Glau all took home actor awards.
ROTS up for MTV Movie Awards
Revenge of the Sith received three nominations from MTV: Hayden Christensen for Best Villian, Ewan McGregor for Best Hero, and Ewan McGregor vs. Hayden Christensen for Best Fight. The Anakin apologists are not going to be happy about this one…

Sith on HBO, ANH audiocast
According to a Variety article (Hyperspace members only) HBO has picked up the rights to run Revenge of the Sith as well as Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, King Kong, Batman Begins and several other of last year’s big grossers.
Also on Hyperspace, audiocast interviews with the cast of A New Hope.
The Empire scores big at The Empire Movie Awards
The Empire Movie Awards were announced, last night. Star Wars finally won some awards that didn’t involve a Razzie.
Love or hate the Frankenstein tribute, the Birth of Darth Vader won Scene of the Year.
Revenge of the Sith also won for Best Sci-Fi/Fantasy Film of the Year. (There’s even a little video message from George, in acknowledgement.)
