Only one coming this Wednesday: Knights of the Old Republic #38.
Out this week: The Clone Wars, FOTJ spoilers
More disturbing-clad slave-world action in tomorrow’s only Star Wars release, The Clone Wars #4. And on the subject of future releases, there are Fate of the Jedi: Outcast spoilers out and about already. (The book is out March 24, and it seems early even for regular reader copies: It appears ARCs are the culprit.) If you’re into spoilers, you know where to go to find them; If you’re not, it’s time to avoid a few key sites.
Out this week: Coruscant Nights, Legacy, Vector
The third and final Coruscant Nights novel, Patterns of Force, will be in bookstores tomorrow. And comic fans won’t go empty-handed this week, either: Both Legacy #32 and the first Vector TPB are on Diamond’s shipping list for Wednesday. I’m also hearing that the latest Star Wars Insider is now in stores.
Out this week: Knights of the Old Republic
Knights of the Old Republic #37 is on Diamond’s shipping list for Wednesday. As an added bonus, check out the preview for The Clone Wars #4.
Out this week: Shadows of Mindor, Legacy, TCW
A good number of you probably don’t need me to tell you that Luke Skywalker and the Shadows of Mindor will be in stores tomorrow, but so it is. Also, the paperback of the Legacy of the Force finale, Denning’s Invincible.
Comic fans won’t go empty-handed this week, either: Arriving in comic stores on Friday (not Wednesday!) will be The Clone Wars: Crash Course and the Vector conclusion, aka Legacy #31.
Out this week: KOTOR, Sith Omnibus
No books, but comic fans be on the lookout Wednesday for Knights of the Old Republic #36 and the Rise of the Sith omnibus.
…Assuming your comic shop is open, anyway. But Diamond says they’re shipping the 24th.
Out this week: Legacy TPB, Insider
No more new books until the end of the month, but Wednesday does bring the fourth Legacy trade collection, Alliance. And in the midst of all last week’s new books, I forgot about Insider #106, which should be in stores (and mailboxes) now.
Also, our book release schedule has been updated, though the only new thing of note is the release date for The Force Unleashed paperback: August 25.
Out this week: Complete Encyclopedia, Wild Space
This is a big week (literally) for Star Wars stuff: The Complete Star Wars Encyclopedia finally arrives in bookstores tomorrow, along with Karen Miller’s The Clone Wars: Wild Space. And on Wednesday, comic fans can pick up The Clone Wars #3, aka ‘the one where Anakin thinks a eyepatch is an effective disguise.’ If that’s what they teach in those fancy Jedi disguise classes, why bother with Order 66?
Out this week: Carrie Fisher, Rebel Force
Although some got it early, including our own Paula, today is the day you can be sure to find Carrie Fisher’s Wishful Drinking in stores.
Also in the realm of inconsistent/nonexistent street dating, I’ve been seeing reports that the first two Rebel Force books, Target and Hostage, (or is it Uprising?) have been spotted, and sure enough even Diamond is listing them. (No comics, alas.) This is the first juvie series to take a crack at the OT era since way back in the EU bronze age, and at worst we can hope for something far less headache-inducing.
Out this week: Death Star PB, Legacy/Vector
The paperback of Death Star, by by Steve Perry & Michael Reaves, will be cruising into bookstores tomorrow. Roleplayers or the detail-oriented might also want to look for WOTC’s Scum and Villainy supplement, which came out last week.
As for comic fans, Wednesday will bring the Vector storyline even closer to an end with part 11 (of 12) in Legacy #30.
