Catching up with a Clone Wars con weekend

The Clone Wars was a big draw at NYCC’s Star Wars panel, where Steve Sansweet debuted a trailer for season 1’s three-part finale, The Ryloth Trilogy. Now it’s up for everyone to see!

And I don’t think anyone is surprised to hear that Cartoon Network has picked up the series for season 2.

The Clone Wars plays hide and seek with a traitor

Tonight’s “Hidden Enemy,” looks pretty clone-centric. Director Steward Lee and writer Drew Greenberg discuss the episode’s premise, while Pete Vilmur interviews Nika Futterman, who voices Ventress.

The Clone Wars: Hot Jedi Parka Action

Friday’s Trespass reunited Obi-Wan and Anakin for some snowy shenanigans with blue people and Talz. Fun, no?

Reviews: io9’s Graeme McMillan thought this one played out “like an old Star Trek episode,” while IGN’s Eric Goldman called it “the most striking installment” yet.

The Clone Wars: War! What is it good for?

The pacifist lemur storyline came to an end with ‘Defenders of Peace.’ I think they need an entire episode of Palpatine laughing his bum off after this.

The Clone Wars: Now with lemurs

Friday’s ‘Jedi Crash’ brings the Jedi to Maridun, home of a colony of Irish-accented Lurmen. In the video commentary, Dave Filoni talks about the comic book influences in the episode.

People: George Takei crosses fandom lines to voice General Lok Durd in next week’s episode. I hope the character survives, if only because that name demands at least one buddy episode with Dooku.
