And the new Hyperspace short stories are a go
Knights of the Old Republic writer John Jackson Miller’s ‘Labor Pains’ is up on StarWars.com with illustrations by Pablo Hidalgo.
Random House lists Complete Encyclopedia
Steve Sansweet cautioned TFN about believing the Amazon listing, but now the Complete Star Wars Encyclopedia is showing up on the Random House site with a November release date, too!
Via TFN, who also have some possible authors for the Clone Wars young reader books.
Would you give an Oscar to this?
If Diablo Cody Wrote Star Wars:
C-3PO: Thank the Maker, this oil bath is going to feel so good! I have such a bad case of dust contamination I can barely move.
Luke: Don’t mind me harshing your Calgon moment, Goldleaf. I’ll a little too busy hating the universe.
You are a sick little man, Pablo. Sick.
Amazon jumped the gun on new encyclopedia
Shocking! TFN has word from Steve Sansweet about the appearance of The Complete Star Wars Encyclopedia on Amazon:
“The last time Amazon did this it was for a book that had been killed six months before. Pablo Hidalgo and I are working on a project together. Everything else–including the sole author credit–is either wrong or speculation. And it’s too early to talk about right now.”
The GFFA’s most dangerous weapons, sort of
Pablo Hidalgo takes checks off ten fantabulous Star Wars Superweapons from the laughable (Darksaber!) to the completely ridiculous (The Tarkin: just like Darksaber, but more than a decade earlier!) you’re sure to learn something. For one, in the Centerpoint Station entry:
Just one quibble: Wedge Antilles is Corellian and grew up in the Corellian system, which is home to this bizarre space station that is 350 kilometers in diameter. So why is he the guy who exclaims “look at the size of that thing” when the comparatively small Death Star comes into view?
And that’s why you should never take the EU too seriously, kids!
Dispatch from the Cinematic Titanic
Pablo writes about it, and Bonnie posts the pictures.. Sadly, they were not mocking the Holiday Special as I hoped, but something called Brain of Blood, which sounds at least equally awful.
Beru masters the double axle
Bonnie and Pablo get their funny on with the ten least likely Unleashed figures.
