On StarWars.com tonight, the titles for the second and third Coruscant Nights novels: Street of Shadows and Patterns of Force. The first book, Jedi Twilight, will be out in June.
Covering Coruscant Nights
While not technically our first look at the cover of Jedi Twilight (The art was spotted on Glen Orbik’s site back in April) this is our first look at the finished product.
Previously, the book’s cover copy.
Teasing Coruscant Nights
TOS has the cover copy for Jedi Twilight, the first book in Michael Reaves’ Coruscant Nights trilogy.
Who’s who in Death Star
Sue Rostoni posted the Dramatis Personae for the upcoming Death Star by Steve Perry and Michael Reaves. The book comes out in September, and the DP is quoted beneath the cut.
That’s no moon…
It’s a first look at Death Star, the story behind the galaxy’s premiere superweapon from Michael Reaves and Steve Perry.
Sneak peek: Coruscant Nights
Check out the art for one of the Coruscant Nights covers. Very noir! (…No wonder!) Sue Rostoni posted that Glen Orbik was the cover artist for the all three books Tuesday. The first book of the much-delayed prequel-era trilogy by Michael Reaves is expected out in July 2008.
Updating the Encyclopedia
Word comes from the starwars.com boards that there’s a new Star Wars Encyclopedia in the works. The last one came out in 1998 – before even TPM! Sue Rostoni says:
It’s true, there is a new Encyclopedia in the works. A volume that will update ongoing entries. Stuff that hasn’t changed (i.e., “hydrospanner”) won’t be duplicated in this second volume. A pub date hasn’t been set in duracrete yet, but we’re looking at Fall 2008 as a possible release time. The format will be the same as the first volume, to keep it as a “set.” That’s about all that’s been discussed at this point.
Also, the Coruscant Nights trilogy is being pushed back to 2008. Better than a year between each volume for a paperback trilogy, I guess.
A Death Star is born
Out of nowhere today comes the news that Steve Perry and Michael Reaves (MedStar Duology) have signed on to write a novel about “the convoluted history of the Death Star and the personalities that led to its creation.” It’s set between ROTS and ANH.
They’re going to need the industrial-strength spackle for this one: Can AOTC and KJA be reconciled? We’ll find out in 2007…
