Grand Army of the Legopublic
A group of British Lego employees assembled an army of 35,310 Lego Star Wars Clone Troopers mini-figs to raise awareness (and cash) for The National Autistic Society.
Toys “R” Us counts down for The Clone Wars
The Clone Wars is in the New York Times yet again, as they take a look at the the merchandising of the animated film. Digital clocks in all 585 Toys “R” Us stores will countdown to July 26, when 225 of them will host a midnight release. That old Happy Meal rumor is confirmed, and they also talk to Target and KB reps.
Because, as well know – it’s really all about the toys.

Check out Hallmark’s Star Wars ornaments for 2008
The Hallmark Keepsake Dream Book ’08 is out, and their Star Wars offerings this year have a Return of the Jedi theme, with an Imperial shuttle, Luke and Vader’s final duel, and Emperor Palpatine. Video: 30% more Millennium Falcon from Hasbro
The folks over at ExtremeTech’s Gearlog got a sneak peek at some upcoming Star Wars toys, including the new Millennium Falcon, which is 30% bigger than the old ones. (They were using the same mold for 30 years before it broke!) Head on over to the link to see another video of The Clone Wars line.
The new Falcon will be officially unveiled at San Diego Comic Con next month.
