Because what the Expanded Universe really needs is another deus ex machina!

Sacrifice Spoilers

Yes, there are Sacrifice spoilers in the links, so don’t even think about mousing over them if you haven’t read the book. No, I’m not posting any details here, but I gotta quote this:

Lucas Licensing apparently allowed this disaster to happen and now we should call on them to reverse it. The Sith have the power to bring back the dead and so too then does the Force.

Whether it is [CHARACTER] or [CHARACTER] or even someone else I don’t care. I just want [SPOILER] back.

I’m facepalming as hard as I can. Look, being sad/disappointed with the ‘event’ is all well and good, but internet petitions over spilt milk are just silly.

More tidbits from the publishing program

Sue reveals what potion of the Dark Times era they’re allowed – less than you might think:

The major portion of the Dark Times era, the time between Ep3 & 4, is still off-limits for development. We’re allowed one year after Ep3 and one year before Ep4.

And good news on the Death Star front – as well as the typeface, for you font geeks.

I’m presently reading the page proofs for DEATH STAR. A good read — a nice combo of known and unknown characters — a super story. And for those of you who enjoy page counts, it’s 363 pages long.

Also, the back cover copy for Inferno ought to be showing up on starwars.com soon.

Inferno: One pissed-off Jedi Master…

The Fury cover may be a fake, but we do get a look at the real Inferno cover today. Caution: It may spoil you for Sacrifice, as one of the leading candidates for ‘the death’ is on it.

Another cover update: Sue Rostoni says the alleged Fury cover is one of the early concepts, not the approved final. She also reveals that Ben will be the subject… And that we might see it soon.

Fans are speculating that this means Jaina is a shue-in for the Invincible cover, and I’m leaning towards Allana for Revelation… Although with it being a Traviss book I wouldn’t count out the Mandos… (Mirta? Chicks in armor have proved popular.)
