The latest edition of Star Wars Action News features an interview with Aaron Allston about Exile.
The podcast also has a Book Club that is making their way through the EU, apparently going chronologically. They’re currently reading Lando Calrissian and the Flamewind of Oseon.
Legacy of the Force: Exile is an alternate selection for April from the Science Fiction Book Club. The SFBC is the only place you’ll find LOTF books in hardcover, unless you’re crafty enough to bind them yourself.
Exile is also #4 on the mass market bestsellers list this week. Congratulations, Aaron!
Guess what’s confirmed? Jedi vs. Sith – The Essential Guide to the Force, written by Ryder Windham (Star Wars: The Ultimate Visual Guide,) illustrated by Tommy Lee Edwards (The New Essential Chronology) and Chris Trevas (The New Essential Guide to Alien Species) and expected for November release.
And then there’s the solicitation art for Troy Denning’s Inferno. I have to admit that with all this hype I’m half expecting the real thing to look a bit like this.
A minion of the Ewok noticed that starwars.com has snuck in the title of the eighth book of the Legacy of the Force series, Revelation, into last week’s first look at Sacrifice. (However, Sacrifice‘s controversial cover art is now missing! What could it all mean?)

Darth Paxil? No, it’s Paxis, excuse me. Anyway, the finalists in the Darth Who contest are up for voting.
In addition to Darth Paxis, (from pax, Latin for peace) we have Darth Acheron (a river in Hades,) and Darth Judicar (justice, I assume,) Darth Caedus (perhaps from the Latin caedes, carnage; casus, falling or caecus, blind) and lastly, Darth Taral, which appears to be a proper name.

The finalist names are: Acheron (a river in Hell for those who deny justice), Caedus (a battle of darkness), Judicar (the final judge), Paxis (bringer of peace) and Taral (ancient Sith for “he who protects”).
The latest item of interest for Legacy of the Force fans is a fairly detailed (in comparison) Amazon.co.uk summary of #6, Troy Denning’s Inferno.
Chances are it’s a fake, given the timing, typos, and Amazon being Amazon, but it’s under the cut if you’re interested.
Dude, Mara’s gonna die this time. Totally. Either that or we’ll learn she bathes daily in the blood of Mandalorian virgins or something. Perhaps both.
At least, that’s what they want you to think. (And yes, she is confirmed to be Mara.)
In less crazy-fan-theory news, the third Republic Commando book is titled True Colors.
