There have been rumblings about this for a while, and now TFN is claiming that Dave Seeley’s CIV print ‘Rogue Leader’ might have been chosen as the cover art for October’s Luke Skywalker and the Shadows of Mindor by Matthew Stover. It does seem a likely choice, but remember nothing is official until we get word over at starwars.com.
Expanded Universe newsbits
Busy day at the official site… First up, an interview with Drew Karpyshyn to celebrate next week’s release of Rule of Two
Then, check out the Japanese cover for Jude Watson’s The Shadow Trap. (Nice, but are they ever going to get to LOTF? The fans are clamoring for EU art!)
And finally, check out some Force Unleashed action figures.
Covering Coruscant Nights
While not technically our first look at the cover of Jedi Twilight (The art was spotted on Glen Orbik’s site back in April) this is our first look at the finished product.
Previously, the book’s cover copy.
Rule of Two is a go
Path of Destruction sequel’s title is tentative no longer: StarWars.com officially introduces Drew Karpyshyn’s Rules of Two. Alas, the Mustafar-chic cover art is also confirmed.
Dragon and Art Director
So there’s this dude, and he’s a Sith…
Tonight on the TOS, the cover art for the eighth Legacy of the Force novel, Revelation. Time to start betting on the cover subject of the final book.
Speak of the devil
Back cover copy of Inferno, plus a larger look at the cover, over at the official site.
First look at the real Fury
Today brings the cover for Aaron’s Fury, and our first look at the teenage Ben Skywalker. And he seems to have inherited grandpa’s closet… And mullet.
Inferno: One pissed-off Jedi Master…
The Fury cover may be a fake, but we do get a look at the real Inferno cover today. Caution: It may spoil you for Sacrifice, as one of the leading candidates for ‘the death’ is on it.
Another cover update: Sue Rostoni says the alleged Fury cover is one of the early concepts, not the approved final. She also reveals that Ben will be the subject… And that we might see it soon.
Fans are speculating that this means Jaina is a shue-in for the Invincible cover, and I’m leaning towards Allana for Revelation… Although with it being a Traviss book I wouldn’t count out the Mandos… (Mirta? Chicks in armor have proved popular.)
Fury cover sighted?
NJOE has discovered a German bookshop has posted a cover for Aaron’s Fury. Is it the real thing? Only LucasBooks knows for sure.
