"The new Star Wars comes out in two years". (Luke 20:15).
— God (@TheTweetOfGod) October 26, 2013
In addition to the big dude himself weighing in, last week brought us Glee’s Chris Colfer with a new sexy spin on a key character, important questions about C-3PO, the internet’s thoughts on Lawrence Kasdan, conspiracy theories and crazy rumors for The Empire Strikes Back. No, really
Also, ditched Storify in light of what a pain-in-the-butt it’s been lately. Not saying we’ll never use it again, but maybe only for breaking news. As usual, the remaining tweets are under the cut. (Let’s just hope that Twitter doesn’t start pooping out next…)
This year for Halloween I decided to go as a character whose sex appeal is always ignored…I'm Sexy… http://t.co/4Bi1FvayLP

Question of the day: given that his memory is wiped, are the C-3PO of the prequels and the C-3PO of the original trilogy the same character?
— Jonas Whisper (@jwisser) October 23, 2013
Give George Lucas sequel and merchandising rights. Who cares! They're not worth anything. #Infamouslastwords

Halloween is nigh!
I am your Halloween costume. Search your feelings. You will know it to be true.

Lucasfilm is doing Halloween today. Getting tired of everybody asking what my costume is. I'm dressed as awesome.

Episode VII and such
I hear this Lawrence Kasdan is a real up-and-comer.
— Matt Martin (@missingwords) October 24, 2013
thought Burtt would b working on #StarWarsVII when, as I passed his booth, he asked for a pic http://t.co/MCXAlO3ayp pic.twitter.com/KbOH5v4CA5

CONSPIRACY ALERT: Every time LFL dispenses a bit of information on EpVII, it's another minute you spend NOT asking about the standalones.
— Bryan Young (@swankmotron) October 27, 2013
Wow, the spy who missed the screenwriter news sure has a lot of info. – thing to keep in mind.
— Pablood Hidalghoul (@infinata) October 27, 2013
I just saw dopes arguing over whether Lawrence Kasden is qualified to write a STAR WARS. Next debate: Can James Brown write funk?
— Alan Scherstuhl (@studiesincrap) October 24, 2013
come on guys, it's like kasdan is abram's babysitter, it's almost kind of cute

Whatever you make of today's #starwars news, you've gotta admire Lucasfilm's announcement. that was some expert-level "we got this" #PRninja
— Chris Taylor (@FutureBoy) October 24, 2013
Man, the things I'd do to read the rejected Michael Arndt Star Wars Episode VII script. Sick, twisted, disgusting things.

Star Wars 2 rumors! Lucas is looking into putting a MUPPET in his movie. He sounds like Grover. It's directed by the guy who did Loving.
— Bobby (@BobbyRobertsPDX) October 25, 2013
Star Wars2 rumor: They hired 20-something who never wrote a movie before. He put ALL the action in the first 30min. There's metal elephants

The new #iPad is announced on the day the 3 Making of #StarWars books are released as eBooks. Coincidence? I think not.
— Matt Martin (@missingwords) October 22, 2013
Oh WOW! I just got the @starwars Making of OT books downloaded. They're amazing! And, best of all, my arms don't pull out of their sockets.

"She thrust her lightsaber into the droid like a sword…" YES YOUNG JEDI KNIGHTS, SHE DID USE HER FREAKING SWORD LIKE A SWORD. #SWEU

Star Wars' expanded universe is too deep. I thought I could handle it but I was wrong. I now know way more about Jedi than I ever wanted to.

I wonder if Lucasfilm would hire me to spend my time correcting people about the spelling of 'Wookiee'?

Great collection (as usual)! :-)
And Pablo definitely knows how to make fans think. Although, in all fairness: We wouldn’t have to listen to doubtful people who go by weird spy names if Lucasfilm just gave us a little bit of anything every once in a while… *cough*
Also: Love the Jar Jar/Goofy idea. So much in fact that I commissioned this crossover a couple of months ago. #JarJarNeedsASpinOff
Thanks!
It’s so early on I don’t mind that they’re not giving us much. What I am curious about is how they’re going to play it once filming starts in earnest… I doubt JJ would sign off on anything like what they did with Revenge of the Sith and Hyperspace…
