Saturday night was the world premiere of The Last Jedi, but press screenings were held today – and the formal review embargo reportedly lifts Tuesday at noon. Until then, here are more (fairly vague) tweets.
#TheLastJedi has first-rate trolling, cute animals, and a “come at me bro” gesture for the ages. #RebelScum is about to trend hard.
Toss in that diverse cast and it truly is 21st century #StarWars movie.

Hey you guys I just saw #thelastjedi and it was really exciting–but also a radically democratic vision that strikes the right note of ragged optimism in a time of political chaos and authoritarianism. Good job, @rianjohnson — the jokes were funny too.

The Force Awakens played the greatest hits. The Last Jedi flexes its fingers, then riffs over old chord progressions in ways that make you beam with elation and surprise.

I saw #TheLastJedi and really loved it. No spoilers, but it reminded me why I love #StarWars. There are a ton of moments that feel iconic the moment you see them, and some really subversive spins on the notion of "coming of age."

I am floored by #TheLastJedi. Utterly floored. @RianJohnson is a sorcerer. I will say nothing more until y’all can see the film too. But golly, this is a special one.

Lots to say about #thelastjedi. Adam Driver is now A-list if there was any doubt before. Rian Johnson does a great job as writer-director. Oh and it is easily the funniest and most spectacular of the #StarWars films.

Oscar Isaac and John Boyega are just as ace as they were in The Force Awakens but Daisy Ridley is an absolute force of nature. Seriously, #thelastjedi rocks but I can’t say any more until the embargo is up… #starwars

I will spoil nothing, but if you're afraid the new trilogy is just a recreation of the original three, #TheLastJedi throws all of that out the window.

#TheLastJedi will be embraced by general audience less than TFA – It demands more, it's longer, it's answering questions they may not care about. But in its purest form it's the sequel committed fans were always craving, diving right in and shooting for the moon/space station

#TheLastJedi is unexpected, brave, heartfelt and very funny. Far more it’s own movie than The Force Awakens was. Key line from the trailer – This is not going to go the way you think… and the film is all the better for it.

Just finished The Last Jedi! The movie is incredible! I really enjoyed it. Every character got their moment to shine. The cinematography was beautiful. The fight choreography was dope. It was lit 🙌🏾🔥#TheLastJedi

Spoiler free: #TheLastJedi is incredible. Every character has their moment and it feels honest and earned. Maybe the most humanist #StarWars film? How dare you make me cry, laugh, cheer, clap, and reduce me to a puddle of emotions all in 2 1/2 hours, @rianjohnson. (Thank you.)

#TheLastJedi is so good because, even though it's Episode VIII, it's not an installment – it's a film. And good lord, is Rian Johnson a filmmaker.

#TheLastJedi is… amazing. Gamechanging. Johnson delivers the best movie ever (OT excluded). And Adam Driver? Oscar worthy. Also the biggest twist since I am your father….

#TheLastJedi was fucking incredible. It’s Rian Johnson and Star Wars unleashed. Especially visually! Questions answered and new questions left behind. Takes what I love about the originals and even pieces of the prequels that I adored as a kid. But most importantly new directions

.@rianjohnson, you glorious bastard. I really don’t know how you did it. Each act feels like the epic third act of any other movie. #StarWars #TheLastJedi
— Jordan Maison (@JordanMaison) December 11, 2017
You did it, @rianjohnson — you really did it. #TheLastJedi is the most magical Star Wars movie since Empire, and the most rebellious. It ends with five words that are the most inspiring I’ve heard in a theater all year.
— Joshua Rothkopf (@joshrothkopf) December 12, 2017
I did not know a Star Wars movie could do that. And that. And THAAAT. Holy shit @rianjohnson you did the thing!! #TheLastJedi
— Emily Yoshida (@emilyyoshida) December 12, 2017
well since everyone else is giving their #thelastjedi takes here's mine: it's a truckload of cuckoo bananas that some people are going to hate but that i loved full stop. it's weird and powerful and ballsy as hell. i can't believe it's real.

My spoiler-free #LastJedi review is just everything I said aloud during the movie:
“omg”
“NO.”
“Holy shit”
“[shocked high pitched gasp]”
“Can I buy a Porg window cling”
“YASSS”
“YASSS OMG”
“[whisper] no”
“WHAT”
“ok!!”— Rachel Paige (@rachmeetsworld) December 11, 2017

You think you are ready for #TheLastJedi
You are not.

Can someone help me out with the last five words? Saw it last night but I can’t for the life of me remember what they were.
