I’ve been reading the Rebel Forve series and actually liked the first one, thought the second was ok, but have managed only halfways in part three – and I’m not sure I’ll read much further… I liked the timeperiod it covers, the uncomplicated approach and that the author actually tries to find plausible explanations to some questions, like f.ex. why Obi Wan seemed to neglect Leia’s Jedi potential. Also I thought the big three were pretty neatly captured. But the main plotine is getting pretty boring and the OC’s never take off, so we’ll see how far I get… Nice reading for youngsters, though.
