Star Wars with occasional sarcasm
Another version of the infamous Episode III pic parade, only this time it’s funny. Someone needs to point out to the writer that the Empire does not technically exist at the beginning of the film.
But I’ll forgive him. Because of the funny.
In addition to this, we have another parody that I failed to post on a timely basis: Star Wars: A Lost Hope. Some toilet humor; a lot of Anakin whining. But hey, I’m easily amused.
First on The O.C, then on Hyperspace and AOL the evening of March 10th. It’ll be in theaters on the 11th, attached to Robots, as rumored. It will be available to all on starwars.com the 14th.
I’ve been going back and forth on posting this link for the last day or so. It’s all over the blogosphere, and with the glut of photos lately I’m not sure if all of these are exactly kosher. But it’s a fabulous Cliff-Notes version of pretty much every spoiler I’ve seen, so link it I shall: Everything you want to know about Revenge of the Sith but were too lazy to ask. Bear in mind this is mostly guesswork: I spotted a few places where I think they may be off. But it’s mostly eye-rolling Anakin/Padme stuff, so take it as you will.
Del Rey has an interesting interview with “Labyrinth of Evil” author James Luceno.
I don’t agree with a lot of what he has to say in the interview about Anakin and Obi-Wan’s relationship. In fact, it seems incongruent with what he wrote in his book. Regardless, LoE is a good read. I’d even go so far as to say I wouldn’t want to go into ROTS without having read both LoE and the utterly brilliant “Dark Rendezvous.”
So help me god, if we don’t have a cardboard Palpatine at the next JadeCon I will whine like a Skywalker .
