Carrie Fisher to tell all?

This is from IMDB, so accuracy should not be assumed. Still, if it’s true, could be fascinating, so I’ll take the chance. Since IMDB news items have a habit of disappearing after a day or so, here’s the item in full:

Actress-turned-novelist Carrie Fisher is set to expose the secrets of the original Star Wars films in a behind-the-scenes expose of the classic sci-fi trilogy. Fisher, 48, kept a diary during the late 1970s and early 1980s, when she played Princess Leia Organa opposite Harrison Ford and Mark Hamill. She explains, “My publisher has told me not to talk about it… oh what the hell. When I was in Star Wars, I kept diaries. Big books full of what went on, what I thought, what I did. I am going to write them all up as a narrative. It will be riveting. Once I get started, that is. I’m months behind already.”

I got Yoda. Hrm.

All in all, the issue is pretty light on SW content. There’s two pages on Lucas releasing the saga in 3D, which doesn’t strike me as all that thrilling, but whatever. There’s also a SW quiz, like you can’t find enough of those on the internet. Still, the ‘Jedi Master’ section was mildly challenging.

All in all? Unless you’re big into quizzes or collecting, don’t bother.

Six covers???

Entertainment Weekly‘s next issue features six (SIX!) Star Wars covers. If last week’s Desperate Housewives multi-cover is any indication, I will certainly be receiving Susan the lamest one in my mailbox tomorrow. While the coolest one is certainly Han, I’m not really sure which of the others to expect. Could they all be good?

Perhaps it’s not the covers that will produce the lameness – do I detect a cover blurb for the Pop Culture Quiz, my absolute least favorite EW feature?

Cue the music… and the giggles.

Revenge of the Sith soundtrack with bonus Palpatine! Well, and a DVD. But mostly Ian McDiarmid. Oddly enough, does not come out on April 2nd with the rest of the prequel stuff…

We also get a look at some new toys. The highlight? An Obi-Wan lightsaber that, um, vibrates:
