Cyriaque Lamar’s True Life (Day) Story: I Held Chewbacca’s Christmas Party is an inspiration to us all… And a sterling example of how Star Wars fans love to turn pure crap into gold, even as they’re dragged screaming from their denial. Happy Life Day, and I hope everyone has managed to avoid the killer robot.
Ugh, the Drew Carey version. Still, it is Star Wars, and it is pretty funny. (Thanks to Sithspit.)
Stormtroopers and stockbrokers will be mingling this morning at the New York Stock Exchange as Lucas Licensing’s Howard Roffman and friends will be on hand to ring the opening bell. I’m going to guess that our favorite Ewok wasn’t invited.

This takedown of The Phantom Menace is half tongue-in-cheek scary fanboy stereotyping and half in-depth critique of the film. (Ironic, no?) It’s not for everyone (aside from the obvious, there’s some language) but it’s been making the rounds and might be worth a watch if this sort of thing doesn’t make you get all frothed at the mouth.

With this being a slow week and me being both behind and exhausted, I thought this might be a good time to pose a question of our readers: With both coming to an end, what was your Star Wars highlight of the decade and the year 2009?
For me, the first may be seeing Attack of the Clones in Vegas with a large chunk of Club Jade. Sure, it might not be the best of the prequels, but damn did we have fun… The second? Well…
