We heard Friday back in April (and Rebelscum rumored it not too long ago as well) but now Sci-Fi Wire is saying that the Cartoon Network will be airing their action-adventure block on Saturday. Real change or error? (Thanks, Stooge!)
Journalists see full episode of The Clone Wars
The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette‘s Tuned-in Journal (It’s a blog, dude: Just call it a blog) has a surprisingly detailed description of the episode’s contents. Worth noting: It made a ‘a positive impression.’
Spoilers are black-barred and reproduced beneath the cut. Continue reading “Journalists see full episode of The Clone Wars“
Rumor: The Clone Wars TV debut October 3rd?
Rebelscum’s ‘rebels spies’ have ferreted out a schedule for The Clone Wars releases that include a television debut date (October 3) and the movie’s DVD release date (November 18) as well as a bunch of Wal-Mart stuff. Are their spies on target? Can’t say, but it wouldn’t hurt to pencil them in.
Got a question for the Robot Chicken team?
To celebrate the upcoming DVD release of the Robot Chicken: Star Wars special, StarWars.com staffers are ready and willing to relay your questions to creators Seth Green and Matthew Senreich and co-head writer/producers Tom Root and Doug Goldstein. Simply post your query in this handy thread.
Well, something is happening on StarWars.com
Just another Clone Wars Flash front piece, though… It’s pretty extensive, with actual content, including some pretty nice galleries (TFN spotted a pink R2,) a sharpshooter game, and more ‘coming soon’… But if you’re hoping for something other than The Clone Wars, no cigarra. Still, at least now we know they’re not just sitting around playing the new Grand Theft Auto.
I wouldn’t click that link at work, though – at least not before you mute your speakers.
Another familiar voice coming to The Clone Wars
Galactic-Voyage spotted an exchange on the forums of Christopher Lee’s official site that confirms the actor is providing the voice of Dooku for the movie.
The site’s administrator, Juan Aneiros, had this to say:
Mr. Lee has recorded the voice of Count Dooku for this movie a couple of months ago.
It was however, the first time he had to lip synch to a character because they had produced the animation before recording his voice.

Video: The Clone Wars Disney bootleg clip
TFN spotted this on Youtube earlier this morning, so better watch it before it’s pulled. (The scene is the vertical cliff-side battle we got a glimpse of in the trailer, featuring Anakin, Ahsoka, and a lot of droids.)
In other The Clone Wars news, Fandango says that the film’s run time is two hours, one minute.
Karen Traviss at San Diego Comic Con
According to her website, the Republic Commando author will on hand in San Diego July 24-27 for the convention, just in time for The Clone Wars novelization to hit the shelves – if it really is coming out on July 26, that is. Are they going to wait until the con to officially announce this thing? Any day now… I hope. (via)
