Head to your favored comic book vendor this Wednesday for Star Wars #19, the second printing of Poe Dameron #1, and Obi-Wan and Anakin #5.
For the trade collectors, there’s a new hardcover collection of Dark Horse’s The Phantom Menace adaptation from 1999, plus the second collection of Kanan.
Whether you’ve been waiting or just would like an electronic copy, the ebook version of Chuck Wendig’s Aftermath is currently on sale for $1.99, for Kindle, iBook and Kobo. These eBook sales are often for a limited time, so grab it as soon as you can.
Although the book has been occasionally controversial, I enjoyed it. The second book in the trilogy, Life Debt, will be out in July.
Lucasfilm’s Pablo Hidalgo went on a tweetstorm this afternoon on the old Expanded Universe, reboots, and the original history of Mon Calamari. It’s not going to change anyone’s mind, but it’s a good read.
Bonus: John Jackson Miller, one of the few authors to write on both the old and new EU, on storytelling in a shared universe.

Report: Rogue One prequel comic canceled? Pre-orders have been canceled by retailers; no creative team was ever announced.
Jedi Bibliothek spotted preview pages for Rogue One: The Official Visual Guide Story on Edelweiss, which reveals several character names and new vehicles – plus our first clear look at two new aliens and the droid glimpsed briefly in the trailer. These may be considered spoilerly, so check out what we’ve learned under the cut.

The Darth Vader comic will end with #25, Marvel announced at IGN today. The ongoing by writer Kieron Gillen and artist Salvador Larroca debuted with the company’s 2015 relaunch of the Star Wars comic line.
“It was a situation where, you know, we’ve always said all the way through, from Darth Vader #1, that this was a story with a beginning, a middle and an end,” Gillen said. “And we kind of looked where we were after Vader Down, and we realized we were probably actually nearer to the end than we thought we were.”
Marvel has three ongoing Star Wars titles at the moment, with Star Wars and Poe Dameron (which replaced Kanan) being the other two. The end of Vader means we’ll likely see another soon.
This week brings one comic on Wednesday, Darth Vader #20, the beginning of a new arc.
Bloodline has been out for nearly a week now, and we’ve had interviews with author Claudia Gray from Entertainment Weekly and StarWars.com (by our own James!) Questions answered include how she incorporated that one Leia meme, what part of ANH got retconed, and how you pronounce ‘Casterfo.’
