Preview of Legacy #1 is up at darkhorse.com.
000 at the TFN boards typed out the narration on the first page:
First look at the cover for Timothy Zahn’s Allegiance is very, ah, white and shiny. Apparently the plot has something to do with rogue stormtroopers, which we didn’t know before. We did know the setting was between A New Hope and Empire, and Luke, Han, Leia, and Mara Jade are all involved.
The book is out in hardcover early next year.
Remember Dark Empire? The comic book that had Luke Skywalker turn to the Dark Side and serve the REBORN EMPEROR OMG? Well, it looks like Tim Burton planned on dishing out the Superman equivalent back in 1998.
Except, you know, with slightly more color.
In August, Del Rey will publish A Practical Man, an e-novella by Karen Traviss filling in the details leading up to Boba Fett’s brief cameo in The Unifying Force.
Although there’s no price noted in the official release, it appears that Barnes & Noble has it retailing for $3.50.
The starwars.com item also gives fans a look at the Fettastic finished cover for Legacy of the Force: Bloodlines, which is due out in September.
James Luceno to write a novel about Darth Plagueis and Darth Sidious. Details are short, but it does seem that Plagueis is a Munn.
Guess that blows my pet Plagueis theory out of the water. Damn. I do so love perverted mad scientists.
The novel will be the released in hardcover in 2008.
The preview issue of the controversial comic series that takes place 100 years into the future of Star Wars will be available in a comic store near you tomorrow for only 25 cents. The comic is written by by John Ostrander, with art by Jan Duursema, the folks behind the Republic series that had fanboys salivating.
At least, we can hope it comes out tomorrow, as #0 has been pushed back pretty much every week so far.
In any case, there’s a hefty article up on Newsarama for your perusal.
