The Last Jedi: New Rey, Luke, Kylo footage, dialogue
It’s not a lot, but this is our most new stuff in one dosage since the actual trailer, I think.

Today in The Last Jedi: Everyone gets a stormtrooper cameo!
Are there any stormtroopers in The Last Jedi that won’t be played by famous (yet unseen) faces? John Boyega apparently confirmed the persistent rumors that Prince William, Prince Harry, and Tom Hardy donned the white stuff for cameos in the same scene. Daniel Craig, what have you wrought?
Another new commercial has a few new snippets of Finn footage, plus some new dialogue from him. (And a bit of new blink-and-you’ll-miss-it Rey as well.) There’s also a new international trailer in Spanish, but it doesn’t feature any new footage.

New footage spotted! A brief look at Kelly Marie Tran’s Rose Tico in action is a highlight of a spot for EDF Energy (okay…), while General Organa and Poe have a great exchange in a new commercial. (Another recent spot features new Finn footage!)
There’s also a great profile of Tran at Buzzfeed which is definitely worth a read. She talks about her background, Harry Potter, and Carrie Fisher in the gym. She teases that Rose has “has an interesting relationship with war.” She’s also one of The Hollywood Reporter’s Next Gen Talent picks.
There were also two big image reveals today: A new picture of Laura Dern as Amilyn Holdo came as part of a quick profile in Elle, and the IMAX poster in USA Today.

Star Wars out this week: Darth Vader, Doctor Aphra
Two comics and three trades will grace the comic book shelves on Wednesday, November 15. Our new comics are Darth Vader #8 and Doctor Aphra #14. The trades are the complete Captain Phasma, Poe Dameron Volume 3: Legends Lost (collects #7, #14-19) and Rise of the Sith Volume 2, a Legends collection that looks to mostly draw on works set around and during The Phantom Menace.
Oh, and Battlefront II is coming out on Friday, I guess? Or it’s already out for some? I don’t know – games are so very much not my division, so that’s all you’ll get on that from here. (At least until someone does the obligatory roundup post with all the relevant info/clips that may pertain to things we do care about.)

Disney teases multiple new Star Tours destinations
Disney reveals the first picture from Star Tours’ visit to Crait – which launches soon at both Disneyland and Disney World’s Hollywood Studios – but they’re also teasing that it’s not the only new destination.
Could we be seeing another sequel trilogy world? Or perhaps a Rogue One based one? The ride currently features Jakku, Hoth, Tatooine, Kashyyyk, Coruscant, Naboo, and the Death Star at Geonosis.
This could throw that pesky rumor for a spin… Or does it? Could we be getting multiple sequel worlds? Fans in Anaheim and Orlando will find out Friday; Paris and Tokyo will both have the new content by the end of the year.
