Marvel sure do have high expectations for this issue given the number of variants now being released. Given that Dark Horse always said that Star Wars titles were never their mainstay (implying SW sales were never spectacular, other licensed titles, including their own Hellboy/BPRD, kept them in business), I have to wonder what sales levels Marvel are expecting from this series, not just issue #1, but the series as a whole: are they expecting high levels of readers of their other series (Spiderman, X-Men, et al.) to also pick up SW #1 because it is also published by Marvel?
