The Star Wars Show gives us our first official look at Kylo Ren’s new ship from The Last Jedi, the TIE Silencer.
Namesake corner. The Mara fan site Jade Crusades folded a few years back, but creator Mazzic has resurrected the site’s interviews with several authors and artists who shaped Mara, including Tim Zahn, Mike Stackpole and Drew Struzan.
History. This is old news for many of us, but io9 has a nice post on how Star Wars saved comics.

When the stormies come marching in. io9 goes for the cheap and easy with a roundup of Star Wars fan art inspired by religious art. Half of it is photoshoppery and such that we’ve seen before, but the icons by Patrick King are pretty cool.

McAdvertising. Vader is shilling for McDonalds in Europe.
Lists. The Falcon and a couple of other Star Wars ships on Den of Geek’s top 75 spaceships.
I really like this Star Wars clock – it’s ultra geeky but also totally low-key – if this was an official product it would be black and the logo would be 500% bigger and I would wince every time I looked at it. Be sure to check out the rest of her store, there’s some pretty neat stuff in there.
It seems that it’s still Falcon week over at the official site, as today brings secrets of the Millennium Falcon, a look at how artists Chris Reiff and Chris Trevas juggled multiple and sometimes conflicting sources to create the latest set of blueprints.
