Tuesday you can waltz into the bookstore and pick up Death Star by Michael Reaves and Steve Perry. Meanwhile, Wednesday brings a new Clone Wars Adventures and the first Tales of the Jedi omnibus. While you’re there, be sure to look for Red 5’s Abyss #1 and Atomic Robo #1, which debuted last week.
Comic fans will only see one new release this week: Dark Times #5. Yay?
As for other releases, the whole Colbert showdown with A Pop-Up Guide to the Galaxy is rather confused by Amazon saying the book comes out next week. Not that Amazon is a paragon of reliability. Of course, they’re also saying October 15th – a Monday. Go figure. It’s in the most recent B&N email with a 28% off coupon, though. (If you’re a member.)
There have been some rumblings that copies of The Star Wars Vault (translated versions?) have been found in Europe, but Amazon is giving a U.S. release date of October 30th. So go ahead and look for it… just not too hard.
This Wednesday brings to comic shops Knights of the Old Republic #20 and the eighth volume of the 30th Anniversary reissue collection – the Splinter of the Mind’s Eye adaption originally released way back in 1995/1996.
KOTOR fans might also want to check out the EU Cantina’s interview with writer John Jackson Miller.
No comics, but today does see the release of Troy Denning’s Inferno, the sixth book in the Legacy of the Force series.
