Star Wars with occasional sarcasm
A brand-new clip from The Clone Wars, The Battle of Christophsis, debuted (more or less) at the con and more importantly, is now online. Meanwhile, io9 has a video interview with Filoni.
And since Friday was Star Wars day, the official site has a transcript of the Lucasfilm panel (pretty much just The Clone Wars so far,) the making of Clone Wars, and Hasbro’s presentation.

‘No Jiggling in The Empire: Fun Facts About Star Wars’ is basically the kind of stuff you’d get asked by trivia monkeys at a Star Wars con (trust me on that one) but what the hell. Even uberfans need refresher courses.

I have to start this review with a caveat that I have not yet managed to finish reading this book. It’s fairly monstrous and there’s a lot to read. Plus, I keep getting distracted by all the pretty pictures.
Having said all that, I feel like I’m far enough along to give at least a relatively-informed review.
Bottom line: I’d recommend getting this book if you hold any love for the original movie. It’s a lot of fun.
TFN reports there’s a new Making of book coming out next year, focusing on the original trilogy.

It comes with toys! Erm, ‘three-dimensional models.’ Pretty cool. Of course, this is the limited edition for all you crazy collectors…
