With just over a week to go, the Star Wars docu-series Looking for Leia has surpassed their Seed&Spark post-production target goal of $25,000.
You can still donate or follow the campaign, which is open through April 20th.
The Star Wars Show brings the star power this week with Alden Ehrenreich (Han Solo) and Donald Glover (Lando Calrissian) to talk about Solo.
In USA Today’s summer movie preview, Solo star Alden Ehrenreich reveals the first scene he filmed, and talked about how young Han differs from the Harrison Ford version. We also get a new picture from that sandy location we’ve seen a few times now.
It might be hard to tell if you have a tendency to spend too much time on social media, but The Last Jedi isn’t having any trouble selling Blu-rays and DVDs. 2017’s top box office earner is now leading home video sales charts “by a wide margin,” per Variety. Second placer Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, which debuted at #1 last week, only sold 29% as much as The Last Jedi this week.
Next week, though, brings the year’s first all-new novel: Daniel José Older’s Last Shot, which will tie into Solo. It’s the first of the Solo books, with the rest due out on the film’s release date of May 25. Check out our release schedule for the lineup.
The full Solo trailer is here, with more on Han, Chewbacca, Lando, Qi’ra, L3-37 and our first look at Paul Bettany’s Dryden Vos.
Tickets aren’t going on sale tonight, but it can’t be long now. Head under the cut for a look at the new poster and some stills from, the trailer.
A new Solo trailer is debuting Sunday, official accounts are teasing. There’s a promo out there that pegs it as appearing during ABC’s American Idol reboot, which starts at 8:00 p.m. (Since it’s not football season, but honestly… I’d rather watch football. Luckily, it’s 2018 and we have Twitter and Youtube.)
