More than a dozen (!) fans in Indiana waited in line last night at Best Buy to get the new DVDs. Yeah, we crazy.

Two new commercials: “Brothers” and “Celebration“. Alas, I am on a computer with no Quicktime, but I’m guessing they’re light on Palpy action. There’s also a “Science of Star Wars” special airing on Discovery.

Hayden Christensen is on the cover of tomorrow’s Entertainment Weekly. It appears that this time there may actually be a real article to go with it.

VH1′s Best Week Ever covered the Graumans line tonight. It amused me. But they didn’t even mention the whole wrong line thing so it was standard nerd-mocking. But, y’know, funny.

Speaking of nerds… Wil Wheaton tangles with the line. And he has t-shirts!

Remember the folks waiting for Revenge of the Sith at Grauman’s Chinese Theater? They’re in the wrong line.

“The telling thing is — for me, at least — if the film is not playing at the Chinese … I have zero desire to see it at all,” a fan who calls himself Obi Geewhyen posted on the message board at Liningup.net. “I’m in it for the lineup only and don’t give a darn about the conclusion of this lackluster, so-called ‘Star Wars’ series.”

How touching.

The story has been pretty widespread: Boing Boing, Metafilter, and Slashdot all blogged it and it’s pretty much spread all over by now. Nothing like laughing at a bunch of crazy geeks to bring the internet together.

UPDATE 4/7: The story’s made it to mainstream media, and Defamer is on the case.

The uberfans at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in Los Angeles are lining up already for the opening of “Revenge of the Sith.”
