To celebrate (!?) the ending of this very eventful TV season, EW counts down 20 of their favorite season finales. Plenty of genre shows make the cut, including Star Trek: TNG, Farscape, Alias, The X-Files and Buffy (above.)
Did your favorite make the list? (IMO: Both Alias and The X-Files had better finales than the ones they chose.)

The Eisner Awards are the ‘Oscars’ of comic books, and several familiar names have shown up on the 208 nominee list: Chiefly, the Clone Wars Adventures, edited by Jeremy Barlow, has been nominated for for Best Publication for Kids. Another familiar nominee is Red 5′s Atomic Robo with two, Best Limited Series and Best Coloring. Meanwhile, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Season 8 was nominated for for four awards, including Best New Series and Best Continuing Series. Joss Whedon and Brian K. Vaughan are both up for Best Writer.

Joy abounds for Buffy fans. Buffy herself, Sarah Michelle Gellar, has finally confirmed for a Buffy the Vampire Slayer cast reunion at PaleyFest.
March 20th, 7pm at the Paley Center for Media in Beverly Hills. If anyone gets to go, let us know!

There are reports that Fox has pulled theatrical exhibition licenses for all their TV shows, which means no more public showings of the Buffy musical episode. I’m just kind of surprised they had ‘theatrical exhibition’ in the first place…

Lots of reprints! On Tuesday, look for the paperback of Aaron Allston’s Betrayal, the first book of the Legacy of the Force series, and Star Wars: The Prequel Trilogy, a trade paperback reprinting all three prequel novelizations.
Wednesday brings the 30th Anniversary Darth Maul collection and the first trade collection of Legacy, Broken. Those yearning for new tales can turn to Knights of the Old Republic #16 and Buffy #3.
