Dare we think that the Emmy’s have finally woken up to some new shows with this year’s nominations? At least they’re finally giving some love to genre shows in the major categories.
A big shout-out to ILM-er and fellow Star Wars geek Masi Oka for his Heroes nomination. It’s always nice when a geek does good.

there’s a category called:
Prosthetic Makeup for a Series, Miniseries, Movie or Special
and separate categories for 1/2 hour and 1 hour shows for:
Sound Mixing for a Comedy or Drama Series
so.. will BSG beat 3 episodes of the Sopranos and 1 episode of Lost for best writing?
