The official site has upped the initial attendance numbers we got from Sansweet to 32,000. That puts it just barely below the height of Celebration IV.
I’m not doubting their numbers (though there’s clearly some rounding going on) – Sansweet’s figure was probably preliminary.I’m thinking that it may not have included volunteers, exhibitors or others who got badges under special circumstances.

wow.. that’s roughly off by 1/7th the size. could there have really been 4,000 volunteers/exhibitors etc? or perhaps was steve’s numbers not counting on-site sales at that point (if so, why not wait until those numbers were factored in).

Maybe they were working off estimates of the on-site sales?
