In case there was anyone who might have missed it, George Lucas’ early work THX 1138 is being released for a limited engagement this weekend in 21 cities.
Yeah. It’s a bit depressing. But you can check out what San Francisco’s BART system looked like when it was shiny new. (It was filmed in one of the stations before it opened.)
Those who prefer being depressed in the comfort of their own homes can obtain the DVD on Tuesday, September 14th.
Or, you know, those of us who are too lazy to drive 90 miles to Chicago can also wait for the DVD.
Has anyone seen an actual list of all 21 cities? If so, could you post the link?
The gal at the movie theatre hadn’t even heard of it, so we’re pretty sure it’s not coming to Milwaukee.
