David Yates will be the director of the Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix adaptation. Cutting it rather close, aren’t they?

Peter Jackson and Fran Walsh optioned Alice Sebold’s novel The Lovely Bones. It may seem like an odd choice for the Lord of the Rings director, but it does recall 1994’s Heavenly Creatures, his largest-budgeted feature before LOTR.
