The Dark Chocolate M&Ms, originally launched with Star Wars branding for Revenge of the Sith, have apparently been back full-time for a month or so now. Never really got the fuss here – I love dark chocolate but these taste almost exactly like regular M&Ms. Still, can’t complain about more M&M varities.

I think they should do a “Party Mix,” where they just put all the different kinds in one bag:
Milk Chocolate
Dark Chocolate
Peanut
Peanut Butter
Crispy
Not a bad idea… But they’d have to make each kind a different color. It’s hard to tell a Peanut from a Crispy from a Peanut Butter…
Oh. Maybe my tastebuds are different from yours, but the dark chocolate M&M’s are TO DIE FOR! I’m very happy they finally got the line launched.
I’m with Paula. The dark ones are VASTLY superior to the regular ones! Yay!!!
I’m a HUGE fan of the Dark Chocolate ones myself… regular ones are too sweet for me. Finally an M&M I can love like my own :D.
…Time to bust the icons back out, it seems. *goes to pour coffee into Dark Side M-Pire mug*
The trouble is that they’re not real dark chocolate. I have a vegan Star Wars friend who thought she’d be able to eat them until she saw they still contained milk.
Wow, must post about food more often.
I LOVE dark chocolate. But what your average candy companies call dark chocolate just doesn’t cut it for me… REAL dark chocolate, the good stuff? No way in hell I’d mix that up with milk chocolate. But whatever they’re putting the the ‘dark’ M&Ms? It’s just not working. They taste a little different, but not all that much.
