The Last Jedi is out this week (and so are the tie-ins)

It’s The Last Jedi week, with the first screenings hitting the night of Thursday, December 14 in the U.S. (International dates may vary, but the bulk are this week.)

In the modern age of Star Wars, that also means that we’re getting the bulk of the film’s tie-ins on Friday, December 15.

Get some insight into the film’s creation with Phil Szostak’s The Art of Star Wars: The Last Jedi. Two reference books are sure to be invaluablefor all the movie’s tiny details: Pablo Hidalgo’s The Last Jedi Visual Dictionary and Jason Fry and Kemp Remillard’s The Last Jedi: Incredible Cross-Sections.

Then there’s the fiction: Elizabeth Wein’s Cobalt Squadron features Rose and Paige Tico, while the picture book Chewie and the Porgs by Kevin Shinick and Fiona Hsieh is sure to be much in demand. (The movie novelization by Jason Fry won’t arrive until March 6. )

There’s a few more that are a bit outside our usual purview, but James has the details over at StarWars.com

But before all that, head to your preffered comic retailer for Star Wars #40 and IDW’s Rogue One adaptation on Wednesday, December 13
