The Force Awakens officially ended its theater run on Thursday, June 2 with a domestic total gross of $936,662,225. Unadjusted for inflation, that makes it the highest earning Star Wars film: In second place is The Phantom Menace with $431,088,295 domestic.

  1. I was going to say, I thought that adjusted for inflation none of the prequels beat any other SW except the animated one, but I realized the main list for adjusted all-time gross combines ALL releases, which puts ESB/ESB:SE and ROTJ/ROTJ:SE over the prequels, while this list separates the SEs from the original. And means that TFA beat them all except ANH, adjusted for inflation, on ONE release. That is a lot of money.
